Paths of particles simulated with a CFD-Model

MET GmbH is supporting the JOWA Germany GmbH in Rostock-Bentwisch with the development of hydrocyclones, which will be used to mechanically separate heterogeneous mixtures of liquid and solids.

With the help of 3D CFD-Models and according to geometric process parameters the expected separation rate and loss of pressure in the hydrocyclone are being analyzed and optimized.
